Ok. So, I decided that the name hasfrndsonlj was no longer suited to represent me (ie it sounded like a loser who has no friends in real life, which i have been growing more and more aware of). Thus, I am now amarycan_girl (gettit...american university..hahaha?)

Haha. I turned off my alarm without ever waking up, so my mom came in and shook me at 7. I sat up, thought about getting up, and decided, I'm a second semester senior. I don't have to get up. So I went back to bed and woke up around 12:30. I now have a paranoid fear that all my teachers will see me tomorrow and know that I just didn't feel like going to school today, especially Mr. Hahn. Hee hee.

Ahh, the happiness. My computer is here and it's everything I hoped it would be...yay.
Furthermore, the APs are almost over... only the (doomed) history tomorrow. I feel fairly at peace with it...there's not much more I can do about it now.
I had my first real 'accident' last Thursday, also known as sheer stupidity. I was backing out of my driveway (pretty fast), with my sister in the front seat, and ran into the fence. It was the van with the stupid automatic sliding doors that cost zillions to repair. I can't believe I broke my perfect driving streak! And over something so dumb! Grr!

Well, I had quite an enjoyable time at American University, and I will be going there next year. Although the honors kids were going to the Blackeyed Peas and Pussycat Dolls concert yesterday, but I missed it b/c my flight left on Saturday. They went to Jack Johnson last year. Hopefully there will be cool ppl to see next year too.

Hmm. During Spring Break I've been reading everyone's posts more than I usually do in a month. It's quite addictive. I especially enjoy the computer-speak posts from cfallin and nishi that I can read endlessly without ever understanding. The one problem is that I find it difficult to differenciate people's posts, so on a recent reading, heartplace's unidentified 'problem with wax' became nishi's, which caused me a double-take.
I'm up in seattle, buying knockoff designer purses...not getting a tan.
anyway, the point of this post is to ask... can you see my icon? I think I finally managed it!

omg. we have only ten choir rehearsals before the christmas concert. and i have barely even started RESEARCH on the history paper, which is due monday. and i am panicked about 42nd street tryouts (or whatever, i forget the term).
but in other news, i now have a supah cool flip phone and a red zip file/drive/pluggy thing (courtesy of jeremy, who gives FANTASTIC birthday presents!!! and it's red!!!!)
so i guess life isn't all that bad :)
